2.Expansion Plan for Photovoltaic Power
 Generation

1) Government’s Action Plan

-“Japan is (…) promoting huge increase in the installation of solar power generation facilities with the target of increasing the amount of installations 10-fold by 2020 and 40-fold by 2030.” (Action Plan for Achieving a Low-carbon Society, 2008)
-The case of maximum introduction of solar power generation indicated on “Outlook for Long-Term Energy Supply and Demand” (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, 2008) equals to the target of installation amount of photovoltaic power generation stated on “Action Plan for Achieving a Low-carbon Society.”

2) Action Plan of Electric Power Industry

“(…) all the electric power companies of Japan are moving toward building mega solar power generation plants to expand solar power in the future. The industry plans to build solar power plants with a total capacity of about 140,000kW at about 30 sites throughout the country by 2020.” (Electricity Review Japan 2009, The Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan)

1.Exhibit Space Rate
■ Basic Booth

 1 Unit Booth · 9sqm. (3m(w)×3m(d)×2.7m(h))

  A basic booth is shown on the right. The organizer will provide
  a back panel, side panels and booth number plate.
  *Carpets will not be provided for all booths.
  *Panels will not be provided for island booths.
  *One of the side panels will not be provided for corner booths.

2.Booth Type

  Available 3 booth types (refer to application form):
  Single-row booths, double-row-booths (applicable for 4 booths or more), island booths (applicable for 12 booths or more, scheduled)

3. Corner booth reservation

 When applying for exhibition space, corner booths
 can be reserved for a fee.

  -The above mentioned fee applies regardless of the number of booths.
  -If an application is made for four or more booths, then in principle,
   at least one corner booth should be allocated without this fee.
  -If not specified in the application, arrangements will be made based
   on the number of booths, in order of application and so on.

4.Application to Exhibit

 Please complete the attached exhibition application
 form and send it to the following.

5.Withholding ro Revocation of Application

  In case the organizer judges the exhibit is inappropriate for thie ixhibition, the organizer may withhold or revoke the application.

6. Payment of Exhibit Space Fee

  After the approval for the contents of application form, the organizer
  will send you an invoice. Please pay your exhibit space fee by
  designated date.
  Payment is only acceptable in JPY cash remittance.
  (Bank charges must be paid by applicants.)

7. Cancellation

  Once an application is accepted no withdrawal is allowed as a general rule.
  If the organizer deems it legitimate, however, application may be withdrawn with payment of prescribed cancellation charge.

8.Booth Allotment

  The Organizer and show management office decides booth
  allocation taking into consideration the exhibits, number of
  booths and demonstration plans, etc.

9.Not Included in the Exhibit Fee:

  • Booth decoration and operation expenses.
  • Installation and usage fee of telephone and utilities.
  • Official program advertising fee.
  • Damage insurance for the exhibits, etc.
  • Expense for injuries arising during exhibition or while transporting equipment.
  • Renovating exhibits and decorations, etc., required by regulations and exhibition rules.
  • Other expenses not included in the basic booth.

10.Other Rules

  Other details and regulations will be explained in the Exhibitors’ Manual which will be sent to applicants later.
